Help with Frenemies, and how to reach us.
Need a hand?
Write to info@frenemi.es with what happened and the device you play on. If it's about your account, add your user ID: it's at the bottom of your profile, and tapping it copies it.
Playing
How do I play with my friends?
One of you taps Host a room and shares the room's code, link or QR code. Everyone else taps Join a room and types the code, pastes the link or scans the QR code, or just opens the link. Once everyone is ready, with at least two of you, you vote on a game. You can also play in the browser at play.frenemi.es, together with players on the apps.
How do the games go?
Tap How to play on your profile to see the introduction again: each game, and how party points add up across them.
Why can't I vote for a game?
Some games need more players: Spyfall needs at least 3. And Sumo Bumpers is played with an on-screen joystick, so it's best on a phone or tablet.
The room closed by itself.
A lobby nobody plays in closes after 5 minutes. Host a new one and share its code again.
Your account
Do I need an account?
No. Frenemies makes one for you the first time you open it, kept on that device. If you delete the app or change phones without saving it, your name, friends and history are lost.
How do I keep my account on a new phone?
On your profile, tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple. Then sign in the same way on your other device, and your name, friends and history come with you. You can't sign in while you are in a room, so leave it first.
How do I delete my account?
If you saved your account, go to your profile and tap Delete account. If you didn't, write to us with your user ID and we'll delete it. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what stays.
The app
It says it's time to update.
That version is too old to play with everyone else. Update it from the App Store on iPhone, or download the latest Android app from frenemi.es/android.
Something went wrong.
When the app crashes, it sends us a report on its own, so we often know already. If it keeps happening, write to info@frenemi.es and tell us what you were doing. A screenshot helps.
